Remaining undefeated was the goal of the UMBC in the game against Chester on the 3rdgame of the 2A Northern BUCS league.
Despite the bad start in the 1st quarter Manchester managed to stay in the game and outscored their opponents in the 2nd quarter (17-6) and went to the locker room with a lead of 9 points. After the halftime Manchester lead up to as many as 20 points and Chester didn’t get back to the game at any point but managed to reduce the difference to 10 points in the final minutes of the game.
MVP of the game was David Lawson who recorded the 1st double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds while Hanad Ahmed lead the way in scoring with 20 points coming off the bench.
