Cup streak continues

The trip to Liverpool for the cup game for the round of last 16 against the University of John Moores turned out to be a very difficult game for the UMBC despite thefinal score (53-77).

Despite the fact that Manchester didn’t lose the lead in score at any point of the game John Moores stayed within a distance of 1 to 5 points for 3 quarters.

Good shooting performance, the best 3point performance so far with 5/12 shots behind the arc and with good defense which was creating the offence in the last quarter, Manchester outscored their opponents 30-9 and advanced to the quarterfinals.

Carol Serban and Andreas Vasilatos lead the team in scoring with 19 points while David Lawson was again 1 point shy from a double-double (9p, 12reb).
