1st round ends with a home win vs Liverpool

The last game of the 1st round of the championship against the 3rd team of the league table, Liverpool, at the Armitage centre was a difficult challenge for Manchester.
In the first half of the game the score was really close as Liverpool was barely missing a shot and on the other hand Manchester wasn’t in the best shooting night. Nevertheless in the second half Manchester by playing good defense outscored their opponents 33-17 to close the first round with a win and a goal difference of +120.
Free throw percentage and 3 point shots were really low but despite that the team found away once again to score 65 points.
Andreas Vasilatos with 14 points was 2 steals shy from a triple-double (10 reb, 8steals) and Carol Serban with 13 points and 9 rebounds lead the way in scoring.
